2020 CrossFit Open
Open workout 20.1 is finally here. Ground to overhead and burpees…ouch. We had a few brave souls tackle it Thursday night, the rest of us have it to look forward to this weekend. 20.1 is the workout of the day for Friday October 11th. Normal class schedule through 1pm. In the evening we have Friday Night Lights! I encourage all of our Open and AM vs. PM participants to come on Friday night if possible. The energy and atmosphere at the open group events is one of a kind.
Gym opens at 4pm, with the first heat going at 5pm. We will run heats every 20 minutes until everyone has had a chance to go. Oh, and there will be pizza. $5 per person, just get your name on the list at the gym before 5:30pm. Not going to be there by then? Message Jeremy by any means possible (text, facebook, email, smoke signals…) and we will get your name on the list for some pizza. Cash or Venmo accepted. Plan is to have it at the gym before 6:30pm.
Childcare provided from 5:30 – 6:30pm.
Battle of the Boxes
Did you know we are part of Lululemon’s Battle of the Boxes? Lulu is hosting workouts at the Fashion Valley store every Sunday morning. The gym with the highest attendance will win! (Not sure what yet…). We can show up every Sunday to count towards our score. We (Outlier) will be running the workout on Sunday October 13th.
