We are excited for the 3rd Part of our Competition Series, the Summer Smackdown, on May 20th, 2017! We will be offering a scaled division along with a RX division for each partner combination with the exception of the female/female RX division so we will have 5 different options offered to compete in: 1 Male/1 Female, 1 Female/1 Female (NO RX CATEGORY AVAILABLE FOR THIS DIVISON), 1 Male/1 Male. The price for the competition is $69 per person if you sign up by midnight on Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 (ENTER CODE SUMMER2017 FOR $10 EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT). After this date the price goes up to $79 per person. The price includes a shirt. Spectators are welcome at no cost.

WOD #1
6 Minutes to Set a 1 Rep Max Snatch for both partners (you can power or squat snatch)
3 Minutes to Get Max Sets of 15 male/8 female Pull Ups Unbroken for RX and 5 male/3 female Pull Ups Unbroken for Scaled
3 Minutes to Get Max Reps of Squat Snatches (RX – 155/105; Scaled – 95/65)
3 Minutes to Set a Max Reps of Pull Ups between both partners (1 partner works at a time)
* This WOD is worth 4 separate scores. Only 1 partner can work at a time. There will be no transition between each of the above parts. In order to get a point on the final part, you must do all 15/8 or all 5/3 pull ups before dropping down from the bar and all 15/8 or 5/3 reps must be completed by 1 partner at a time. For example, if you complete 12 pull ups of the 15 and come off of the bar you will have to start back over at 1 for the score to count.
WOD #2
8 Minutes to Complete the Following:
1,000 Meter Row
20 Synchronized Front Squats (RX – 165/125; Scaled – 115/75)
– Then, as many reps as possible in the remaining time of Shoulder to Overhead (RX – 165/125; Scaled – 115/75)
WOD #3
3 Rounds for Time of (15 Minute Time Cap):
400 Meter Run with 1 Sandbag (80 lbs for RX and 60 lbs for Scaled)
21 Cleans (RX 185/135 must be squat cleans; Scaled 135/95 power cleans are allowed)
15 Bar Muscle Ups for RX / 15 Toes to Bar for Scaled
9 Dumbbell Thrusters (RX 50/35s; Scaled 35/25s)
* Both partners must run the 400 meters together with 1 sandbag alternating the sandbag how often they need to. You cannot start the Cleans until both partners are back from the run.
Floater WOD
5 Minutes to Accumulate as many Calories and Reps as Possible of:
Calories on the Air Dyne
GHD Sit Ups for RX and Weighted Sit Ups for Scaled (25/10)
* Both Partner working together during the entire 5 minutes, you decide when you want to switch. At the end of the 5 minutes, your score is your total calories on the bike and total sit ups accumulated.
