We would rather put together a well run competition to ensure all participants have a good experience as opposed to being overrun with teams.
Additional spots may open up, so please email info@outliercrossfit.com to be put on the waitlist.

- Toes-to-bar synchro standard: both feet, from both athletes, must be touching the bar at the same time for the rep to count.
- Leg lift standard: both feet, from both athletes, must pass above the hips at the same time for the rep to count.
- Barbell must be dropped on the floor when switching between partners. For same sex teams, the partner in waiting may not have their barbell in hand, they must wait for their partner to drop the barbell before picking theirs up to begin their reps.
Floater WOD
Presented by Grown Strong
AMRAP 5:
160m yoke carry
Max reps sandbag squat in time remaining
Score is total sandbag squats completed.
Rx Weights
Yoke – 380 MM / 290 MF / 250 FF lbs
Sandbag – 125/85 lbs
Intermediate Weights
Yoke – 290 MM / 230 MF / 200 FF lbs
Sandbag – 100/70 lbs
Details
- Athletes may split all work as needed, one partner works while the other rests.
- The yoke will be carried in 20m segments. 8 lengths must be completed (4 times down and back) before moving onto the sandbag squats. The yoke must completely cross the line before turning around, or finishing. Athletes may set the yoke down and switch at any point.
- Sandbag squats shall be shoulder/back racked. Full hip extension with shoulders over the hips is required at the top of the rep.
- The sandbag must be dropped on the ground before the other athlete may pick up their bag:
- Same sex teams will use the same bag, and it may not be passed from one athlete to the other without touching the ground.
- Male/female team will use two different weight bags, only one bag may be off the ground at one time. Thus an athlete may not wait with the bag “in hand” while the other performs squats.
Yoke Notes
- For the purposes of this competition, the empty yoke is assumed to weight 200 lbs (in reality it weighs slightly less). This intermediate female/female teams will carry an empty yoke.
- On male/female teams, the yoke will weigh the same for both male and female athletes. This means no weight changes will be performed. The yoke weight is 290 lbs for Rx MF teams, and 230 lbs for MF intermediate teams.
