Hi Outliers!
Please read the list below for a few important announcements for the gym. As always, if you have any questions, please let us know!
On -Site Massage Therapy: Shedara (The Muscle Whisper) is on-site at Outlier on Mondays upstairs. She books up in advance so if you’re interested in getting an awesome massage check with her for availability: Shedara’s Facebook Page for Rx Sports Massage
On-site Physical Therapy: Movement Rx is in the gym on Wednesdays and Dr. Claudia Chaloner takes appointments to help you out with any PT needs. Visit their website for info and to schedule appointments: Movement-Rx Website
Meal Delivery: We have two companies that deliver fresh, good quality, cooked meals to the gym during the week. You order direct through the company and pick up your meals from their fridge at the gym. Power Supply Meals Level up Meals
Showers: Don’t forget we have 2 showers if you need them (and they have shampoo, conditioner and body wash stocked). If you use the shower please don’t leave your personal items in there and be sure to prop the door open when you’re done so it airs out!
Kill Cliff and Perfect Bars: These items are currently stocked and accounted for on the honor system. When you take a beverage or bar, you must write your name on the sheet hanging next to the fridge accounting for what you take. We track inventory of the drinks and bars daily and have had several drinks and bars not accounted for lately. Please note that these are not free! Kill Cliff drinks are $3.50 and Perfect Bars are $3. We know after a workout you may be tired and sometimes a little delirious but please sign out your items so we can continue to keep these stocked for everyone!
Upstairs Cubbies/Hang Out Area: These are intended for you to leave things in that you don’t necessarily want to take home every day (lifting shoes, straps, etc). Please make sure that your items are clearly labeled with your name and remember that Outlier is not responsible for any of your personal items. Please do not “borrow” other people’s items. Also, if your items are prone to smelling a little, make sure to store them so they air out and maybe get something to freshen them up from time to time! Mobility equipment is also upstairs with mats for your use. Please feel free to head up there before and/or after class and take advantage of the space to hang out with people and warm up/cool down.
Downstairs Cubbies: These are meant for storage only while you are actively in class at Outlier. Please do not leave things overnight in these cubbies. We will be going through the downstairs cubbies periodically and clearing them out if things are being left.
Refrigerators: Feel free to use the small clear window refrigerator near the main gym door to store things during class only. No personal items are allowed in the Power Supply, Level Up or Kill Cliff/Perfect Bar fridge. Please make sure to take all items out of the fridge after class.
Jars/Drink Storage: We have shelving over by the filtered water and sink area. There is a scrub brush and soap for you to clean your jars/cups/shaker bottles etc as needed. Please do not leave drink containers that have remnants of anything other than water. Flies and funny odors are not our friends!
Dogs: We love everyone’s furry friends but ask that you keep dogs on leashes at all times while in the gym. This is for the safety of your dogs and the safety of those working out. Please tie your dogs up over by the GHD at the roll up doors during class. Feel free to put water (outside) for your dogs, especially as it heats up in the summer!
New Rig & Equipment: We are super excited about the new rig and equipment we’ve added to the gym! Please keep in mind that the new equipment is intended for group class, hybrid use, and personal training/programming under a coaches direction (and the teen class will eventually be ran from that area as well). We cannot have people using the gym in an open gym setting during class times. We’d love for you to do some supplemental work after your classes but you must clear it with a coach beforehand.
Supplemental Program/Nutrition: We are happy to help you beyond the regularly scheduled classes with personal goals, preparation for specific physical fitness, healthy eating planning, weight loss, muscle gain, etc. If this is something you are interested in, please see a coach regarding program/nutrition design and associated costs.
Returning Equipment: Please help us keep equipment organized and clean. Put your bars, plates, kettle bells, dumbbells, boxes, etc back where they came from at the end of the workout. If you get equipment sweaty or tear your hands/shins on something please clean it before you put it back!
Childcare: We offer supervised childcare in our kids room 6 days a week. Childcare is included with your membership. The kids room schedule is as follows:
Monday/Wednesday 4-6
Tuesday 8:30-9:30, 6-8pm
Thursday 8:30-9:30, 5-7pm
Saturday 8-10
Sunday 9-11
