One of the biggest objections to joining a gym is price. To some people, $140-$170/month seems outrageous for a gym membership when you can go to a 24hr globo gym and get a membership for $40/month give or take. But what does that get you? Is some one going to spend time with you and show you how to do the movement is correctly? Is someone going to miss you if you don’t show up? Will they cheer you on as you work hard to earn those results? Will they intervene if you decide to try something that you are not yet ready for?
What you pay for here is coaching. We spend time with our clients because we care about them. Our coaches are experts at strength and conditioning and will thoroughly review all movements with you regardless of ability level. If you are brand new, the exercises will be modified to your ability level if necessary to make sure you have proper technique. If you are a veteran, we can help with advanced skill sets that you may have some trouble with. Lots of gyms focus solely on beginners, where as we have the ability to coach everyone.
What you pay for here is community. Or as I like to call it, your extended family. The coaches and members here will miss you if you are not here. They will hold you accountable. When it gets hard, you will see them working and not want to give up. This goes hand and hand with accountability. If you don’t show up, we are gonna wonder where you are. The results don’t earn themselves.
You are paying for programming. At Outlier CrossFit, every day there will be a group warm up, specific flexibility work, some sort of strength training, and some sort of conditioning work. This is done for you everyday so that you don’t need to think, you just need to show up ready to work.
You are getting more than a gym membership. We have social activities going on to get people from different classes to interact and make new friends. Anyone that has done team sports can tell you that when a group of people work hard together, bonds are formed. All of us here have made best friends with people we sweat with.
When you come here you are making a commitment. We charge enough to compel you to come. We want to help each and every person that walks in the door to become the best that they can be.
