Weather Update…
Rain is in the forecast, but we will still be hitting our workouts! The 8am class is a partner workout, so you will share a pop-up tent with your partner. Barbell will still be going down at 9:30, but we may be partnering up to share barbell’s under a tent.
8:00am Workout of the Day
For time, in teams of two, partitioning the reps as needed:
300 air squat
200 DB deadlift (2 x 50/35)
100/90/80* cal air bike
*M/M teams = 100 cals, M/F teams = 90 cals, F/F teams = 80 cals
One partner works while the other rests. Teams may partition the reps however you like, so you will need to strategize before the workout and WRITE DOWN YOUR REP SCHEME ON A WHITEBOARD. You can also split the reps ups however you want. Some suggestions:
20 rounds:
15 air squat
10 DB deadlift
5/4 cals
10 rounds:
30 air squat
20 DB deadlift
10/8 cals
Split the reps up, perform alternate full rounds, or alternate movements with your partner.
1 round:
300 air squat
200 DB deadlift
100/90/80 cals
Just split the reps up as needed, moving through the WOD chipper style.
