Jeremy Allen – Owner/Coach
My journey into CrossFit is no so dissimilar to many. I have been a lifelong athlete, playing basketball, soccer and baseball growing up. Basketball was my jam (pun intended), but a few too many ACL tears forced me to give up that competitive side of my life. Fast forward to 2011, I discover CrossFit and a new avenue for fitness and fun, and even an outlet for my competitive drive. I soon learned the real value of CrossFit and ventured into the coaching and business side of things. I couldn’t imagine anything better to be involved in, I love being able to create a fun and engaging atmosphere and help people with their fitness goals.

Evan Gamos -Coach
I found CrossFit in July 2014 after years of living the body builders dream: Chest on Monday, back on Tuesday’s, legs on Wednesday… Lather, rinse, repeat. While I enjoyed working out, it became boring and the competitive athlete in me needed more excitement. I grew up playing team sports all through high school and college and enjoyed the camaraderie of practicing and playing with teammates, and of course the competition. At the encouragement of friends who were already “drinking the Kool-Aid”, I took my first steps into fundamentals here at Outlier. I never looked back. While my first workout – 31 Heroes with Coach Clint – was a huge wake-up call (Hey! You’re not that fit!), I knew that starting CrossFit was the best decision I had ever made. Since then, my brother, and my mom have joined the Outlier family! I was determined to learn and do more, so I obtained my CrossFit Level 1 certification in 2015. Since then, I have been interning and shadowing the coaches to gain as much knowledge as possible. I have always enjoyed coaching and helping others get better, and my goal as a coach is to help you overcome obstacles, challenge yourself to be a little bit better every day, improve your fitness and health, and most importantly, make sure you have a great time doing it.

Paul Estrada – Barbell Coach
Maria Hererra – Kids Coach
Maria is a former Obstacle Course and endurance athlete. She learned how to climb almost nearly before she could walk. As a toddler, her parents would sometimes find her perched up high in a tree. Maria has always been interested in going off into the wilderness and learning everything she can about surviving in the wild, medicinal plants, and building a shelter out of natural elements. In 2010, while training for a street luge race, Maria had a nearly fatal accident when she fell off a cliff and injured her body so severely that doctors told her she may never walk again. “If I can’t walk, I’ll run and I’ll climb,” she told herself and she began a lifelong journey of training her body to become the strongest and fittest it could ever be.
Maria’s persistence as well as her passion for health, wellness, the body’s innate capacity to heal, and her love for children offer Outlier the perfect combination of skills and experience. Maria’s resilience and passion for working with children to teach them lessons in dedication inside as well as outside of the gym makes her an integral part of the Outlier team, as she understands first-hand the body and mind’s innate resilience.
